Diploma Plus Certification
Diploma Plus Certificate in Advanced Computing Mathematics (CACM)
School of ICT offers a Diploma Plus Certificate in Advanced Computing Mathematics (CACM). This program is designed specially for and will benefit IT-related students by helping to build a stronger mathematics foundation required for pursuing degree programmes in computing in both the local and overseas universities.
CACM students will take three compulsory modules – Advanced Statistics, Calculus and Discrete Mathematics which the modules will be offered in semester 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
Students must meet the following requirements in order to qualify for the programme:
- Clear pass in all Level 1.1 modules.
- A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher based on Level 1.1 results.
- A pass with at least a B grade in Computing Mathematics or Business Statistics in Level 1.1
Students who complete the programme will be awarded a Diploma Plus Certificate in addition to an NP Diploma upon graduation.
